Astra is a powerful and reliable standalone 3D camera that includes the proprietary Orbbec 3D microchip and VGA color.
Astra was developed to be highly compatible with existing OpenNI applications, making this 3D camera ideal for pre-existing apps that were built with OpenNI. Astra has a 0.4 to 2 meter range.
